Andrés Fernando Roldán Tonioni, is Sociologist, Magíster in Comunitarian Psychology and he is studying for a PhD in Social Sciences from the University of Chile. Research fellow of the National Council of Science and Technology (CONICYT) and teaching in the University Andrés Bello and University Silva Henríquez in Santiago, Chile. His doctoral research project is titled "Student movement in Chile: dynamics of contention during the process of construction of the public policy of higher education between the years 2013-2016". Its main themes of interest are social movements, political participation, protest and social conflict. He has produced some publications in national and international magazines in relation to these and other topics.
